Thursday 21 July, Members' briefing at Menwith Hill. Not in the Belly, really, more like the waistcoat pocket. And, according to the briefing, a 'beast' reference* would be inappropriate. More like a cuddly koala. Station staff were friendly and well informed, describing the workings of a Radome, which we scaled to the very top. Not a single codebook in sight. *Base/Beast - geddit?
